JyothiVinayagamsirukadhaiparisuthitam (JyothiVinayagam short story prize scheme)' is an organization through which prizes were given every month to a story that was selected as the best. From this, the year's best story was selected by a celebrity and a prize given to it. Sankara Narayanan has published these stories as a collection. Dance artist Anitha Rathnam chose the best story of the year 1998.
