EIHSC Special Issue 7.4 is dedicated to health and social care issues focusing on gender and race. New, international evidence is published looking at topics such as the relationship between ethnicity, eating disorder and mental health, body image and wellbeing, weight bias and psychosocial health and body image among older women. The contributions take a bold step in bridging an important gap in the healthcare literature while positing recommendations for practitioners and policy makers internationally.
