The Tanbook is a compilation of the statutory and regulatory provisions governing landlord-tenant matters in New York State; there are more than a dozen different statutes and sets of regulations that have a direct impact on practice in this field. It also includes relevant local laws from New York City, Albany, and Rochester. Many of the laws or regulations are preceded by commentary highlighting the key provisions dealing with issues most frequently encountered by practitioners.
