He thoroughly explains all the crucial uses of Tao by his profound knowledge, and combined the theory of Saint and Emperor, and the word-of-mouth methods of returning the original shape to crystallize Essence of Tao-te Ching. Each chapter of the book firstly describes the normal Tao, and then states the Tao of Dan; firstly describes the common methods, and then states the methods of Dan. The Taoism is profound and subtle, and the unity and coherence of writing is meticulous and clear. The ins and outs are integrally considered, and the substance and function is suitable. Especially the Confucianism is integrated into Taoism without any traces; they are entirely unified as Taoism could promote Confucianism. The Taoism is understood and the morality is learned and practices to make the prevailing custom in all over the world on the right track; and the spirit and motive are cultured to regularize people's morale in all the world. The celestial Tao is made clear based on humanism, and every word is the golden rule; the metaphysics is stated based on learned Saint Theory, and the pithy formulas are word-of-mouth and passed on from generation to generation. The writing is coherent, simple, cordial and unadorned. The mind and disposition is cleared, the saint's truth is mastered, the philosophy is understood to conduct ourselves in society, and the country is governed well by using it. It could be hided and kept, and be suitable for both officers and hermits. It is an immortal masterpiece at discretion among the analytic books of Tao-te Ching. Whatever in Confucianism or in Taoism, it could be regarded as classical.）
