The tiring life on the farm is disenchanting for two brothers in late nineteenth century Arkansas. Longing for adventure and spending most of their free time in the local saloons, they seize an opportunity to escape from the family farm and their father's iron hand. Lured by her breathtaking beauty and mesmerizing charms, they agree to accompany a rather astute saloon girl back to her New Orleans home, setting a string of events into motion that will prove to be life altering and impossible to stop. As they pass through a locale still inhabited with some of the worst specimens of humanity, it will prove to be a trip filled with unexpected dangers for the brothers and their female companion, making the likelihood of their very survival seem doubtful.
