When the earth is threatened by an Extinction Level Event all the peoples of earth pull together to develop a time machine, but in the end many hopes are crushed when a secret society steals the time-craft before it is in operational order. The members of the secret society travel back several decades to try and seize control of the earth, beginning with the office of the Presidency. What follows is a tale of deceit, corruption, and constitutional intrigue.
