13 year old Lane Gatlin is the smallest boy is his age group in the whole town. For years, the kids have called him runt, midgit, and other names as they put him down. Circumstances force Lane to toss his concerns about the kids teasing aside. His father has a bad back and can't work. Now, Lane will have to carry the workload on the ranch.
