Truth is a statement of fact; Trust is something that needs to be earned over time. While different, they are both dependent on each other; Trust is lost when someone you trust doesn't tell you the Truth. And someone you don't Trust will rarely tell you the truth. Consider this as well: A true friend will always tell you the Truth, no matter how much you may want to hear it, need to hear it, or have no desire for it because of how much it will hurt you. But that's why you've learned to Trust that friend to begin with.
