When the opportunity arises for a weekend break in a pleasantly secluded part of the Cornish coast, London business executive Caroline Kent gladly takes it. Little does she know that it will lead to a terrifying adventure with supernatural forces, weapons of mass destruction and an apocalyptic plan to reverse over a thousand years of history; all centred on a grim old house on a cliff overlooking the sea, inhabited by a strange family with a very dark secret. Is the Devenetts modelling agency, who arranged the photoshoot on the beach near Trevenna for their "Golden Glamour" exhibition, quite what it seems?
