Today I am speaking with Jody Martin, Director of Education and Curriculum for Creme de la Creme Early Learning Centers (www.cremedelacreme.com) about their facility and the fact that they not only have a pre-school for 2-4 year olds, as well as a kindegarten, they also operate a day care center for infants as young as 6 weeks. It is a fabulous school that has 20 locations across the country and 5 more set to open in 2009. But if you are a parent living in New York City, or another main city across the country, you may be one of the frazzled and anxiety ridden parents that are trying to get their child into a top tier pre-school. In today's age, the pre-school your child starts at will be a determinining factor into the other type of schools your child will continue to be accepted into, and that is a tough proposition since there is a private pre-school shortage right now. Amanda Uhry, founder of Manhattan Private School Advisors (www.privateschooladvisors.com) is sharing with me how her organization can help parents be successful in getting their child into a top tier school and how parents need to be aware of the challenges they face if they live in a big city.
