As parents we work hard to make sure our children’s lives are perfect as possible. For many of us, we try and right the wrongs of our own childhood making sure our children don’t have to deal with the stressors we faced growing up. So why are our kids more stressed out than ever? And what are they stressed out about? This week Philip and Lisa are joined by Dr. Amrit Daryanani, middle and high school counselor for Wakefield School and adjunct professor for the University of Virginia, to talk about this struggle facing our children and what we can do to help. Surprisingly, the answer may be more about parents than the kids.
