Selected papers from the June 2006 conference "Information Literacy for a Lifetime". The conference theme centered on a series of questions about how academic librarians are contributing to the development of lifelong learning. The complete program is included in the issue, providing a comprehensive overview of the conference; which included sessions on social networking software, gaming and podcasts, librarian-faculty collaborations, instruction outreach to high school and community patrons, information literacy assessment and multiple learning styles. There is also a list of which books have been most influential to delegates' work.
