Through self-teaching, he wrote as many as 300 volumes of various works in his life, mainly known for novels and dramas. He kept the Republican political views, against the monarchy. Due to being a mulatto, he suffered from racialism all his life. Dumas is the 70th person entering the Pantheon for his outstanding contribution to France, and also the 6th French writer entering the Pantheon following Voltaire, Rousseau, Hugo, Zola and Malraux. The Leader of Wolves is one of the three well-known magic novels of Dumas.
