《当代回族生计》作者（安翔）采用田野调查的方法，在对七个典型回族地级市、五个县级市、五个村156位回族进行了不同深度的访谈、获得了丰富的资料后，对当代回族的生计的特征、主要内容、面对冲击与适应、与传统生计的差异及对当代回族的生计发展产生重要影响的因素进行了系统而有条理的介绍。An Xiang, author of Livelihood of Contemporary Hui People, in his book presents us the features, main contents, modern shock and adaptation problem, differences from the traditional livelihoods as well as factors that have major impacts on the lives of contemporary Hui people (who are Muslim Chinese) in a systematic and clear manner. All materials, including information collected from 156 Hui people of seven typical Hui prefecture-level cities, five county-level cities and five countries through interviews of different levels, are gathered together by the author after field investigations.
