James Morgan is the marshal of a small town in the Old West, troubled by his past and haunted by feelings for a roving, storytelling gambler named Matt Dixon. It's a dangerous time and place to be interested in men, and Morgan has spent too long denying that part of himself to risk everything on someone as untrustworthy as a gambler. But Matt has been chasing after Morgan for too long to let him get away now.
