This book covers in separate chapters the infections caused by each DNA virus family, including slow viruses diseases, as well as the system of Virus Information of the World Health Organization. It provides a comparative description of the principal physicochemical, molecular, structural, genetic, immunological, and biological characteristics of viruses implicated in various diseases, mainly of veterinary importance.
