The protagonist is highly inspired when his doctor informs him that insomnia is not suffering. He begins to find his comfort by impersonating a very gravely sick person in many support groups.
Once, he comes across a mysterious man called Tyler Durden. The protagonist is impressed by the man and he sets up an underground fight club. It is a kind of radical psychotherapy for the protagonist.
The book was adapted into a movie titled "Fight Club" in the year 1999. It was a highly successful movie directed by David Fincher. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were there in the lead roles.
