Pick, Read, and Play are fun seasonal card games for students to play together or in a small group. Prep time is easy peasy! Print on card stock and cut. That's all! You can laminate for more durability if you wish.

What's Included: 2 card games each for Christmas, winter, Valentine's Day, and St. Patrick's Day.

Types of Words used: The decodable word games include cvcwords, words with digraphs, and words with blends. All of the words can be decoded. The sight word games include words from the DolchList (pre-primer, primer, and first grade).

How to Play: Mix all of the cards together and place face down. Students take turns picking a card to read. If they read the word correctly, they can keep it. If a student picks one of the "special phrase cards," then they have to put all of their cards back. Continue to play until all of the cards have been picked.

Your students will have so much playing these games they will not even know that they are learning!
