She gave birth to her son at all risks and kept the child as the son of his uncle. Qiu Shui suffered a series of domestic calamity and her families bizarrely passed away one after another. Yet she still kept expecting her love's return. Eventually, her waiting which lasted nearly half a century got a result and she also found out that her love was also expecting her on the other side of strait...The story spans from the Kuomintang-Communist War period to later stage of Reform and Opening-up across the mainland and Taiwan.
