Leaning against the railing on the deck, looking towards the horizon, Seema was lost in her thoughts, almost indifferent to what Jeevan and little Anmol were doing in the cabin. Suddenly, she looked at the sea waves crashing against the huge steel ship. It seemed as if they were crying in agony. She began to compare her life to those shattering sea waves.

"Listen! Where is your small briefcase?" Jeevan's voice startled her. She turned and looked at him. He was looking at her with expectation, but she did not respond for quite some time.

Jeevan got irritated and said, "What happened? Are you all right? Where are you? I don't understand what happens to you. Have you found a new plot for your next story?" There was a tinge of humor in his last question, as if trying to tease her out of her stance.
