Fiction: Private Investigator. A man sitting in a chair reading books and thrusting his arm in the air. That's as close as I can get to what's going on. This is a story of imagination. In the Way To Floss there's a knock at our protagonist's door which thank goodness he answers. Welcome to The World Of Vick Prey, our Private Investigator with the Unfortunate Name. In truth, he would like to be a Poet. Ms. Ray Lin has apparently heard of him and right away she asks to employ his services. He accepts her offer and they go off together in his Winnebago because it has more room than his office. Initially they go to Floss. What happens to them on the way there takes up the first book. Ms. Lin never tells Vick what the case is. This is a concern to Vick and occasionally he mentions that. There's no sex, violence, smoking, or swearing in this book, to speak of. You'd find that out anyway. The other problem is it doesn't make a lot of sense. In My Dangerous Darling it starts to roll.
