Imagining that such a beautiful woman would be so close to him, Shridhar got extremely excited and enthusiastic. He had very faint image of her in his mind, but his artist's mind had already begun to complete her picture.

He imagined her sitting in the veranda, wandering in the valley, or walking beside him along the road. He envisioned her in different dresses, running on green grass in the lawn of the bungalow, and sitting under the shade of the fur trees surrounding his house.

Now, Shridhar was eagerly awaiting Neeta's physical appearance in front of him. He was like a man trying to vainly chase a mirage.
