Once you leave your own country to look for better opportunities in the other countries of the world, the memories of the native land begins to diminish because there is so much more to see in this world.

We had left our country about twenty years ago. My husband had found a job in Kuwait. Having spent two decades in Kuwait, we decided to settle down there, but our children were studying in India.

A long discussion among the family members took place before it was decided that we would visit Singapore and Bangkok. My sons took the responsibility of making all the arrangements on their shoulders.
