Through the dripping sweat of their colliding flesh and to spite all the laws of their separated clans, one witch and one wizard remained defiant within each other's arms in a time when such shared love was punishable by death.
But their love was not enough to stop this brazen wizard from trying to aid his clan in a time of need, and his aid was not enough to prevent them from eviscerating her entire bloodline. Thus the flame which held their hearts beating in unison became severed, and this witch was left to wander her world alone in an attempt to somehow reconnect it.
So, through a land being remolded by fire and reshaped by some ancient form of resurrected magic, from deadly predators to an elaborate forest designed to kill any who entered it, finding both friend and foe alike along the way, she must fight her way across a continent filled with great danger.
