Whereas most Logic textbooks cover much more material than any Introductory Logic course covers within a semester, Introductory Logic for Community College Students only contains material that is appropriate to cover within an Introductory Logic course. As a consequence, not only is this text less expensive than other Logic textbooks, due to its intentionally concise nature, it is also less overwhelming to students, which in turn increases the chance that students will learn the most fundamental principles of argumentation in a way that allows them to keep this knowledge with them.
