We've all heard the about WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). This series is called WDJD (What Did Jesus Do). Jesus came to earth so that He could understand what it was like to live in a fallen world, and to live in human bodies. Jesus also came to earth to give us a glimpse of what God is like. He came to earth to fulfill all of the thousands of prophecies about Him. Finally, He came to earth to give us a path to get to heaven. He died on the cross to save us from our sins. He rose again to kick Satan's rear end and give us eternal life.Like I said before, one of the reasons that Jesus came to earth is so that we could get a sneak-peek of what God is really like. Man had an idea of what God was like, but it was so distorted that they had created their own God. They made all these rules and regulations and expected God to fit into that mold. But Jesus didn't fit the mold. He was totally different than they had imagined Him to be. In fact, Jesus was so different than the image they had created that they couldn't recognize Jesus as the long awaited Messiah. Satan had so blinded them that they didn't even recognize Jesus, even when He began fulfilling the prophecies about Him. They couldn't even believe Him when He performed all of those cool miracles.
