The author has been involved in the racing industry since the early 1970s and made his living from racing for a number of years in the early 1990s. The advent of internet gambling has not changed the basics of racing. Nor has it changed the reality that whether you live in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia or almost anywhere else where regular racing takes place, these myths persist and are just that, myths. Believing these myths will stop many people from becoming successful professional or semi-professional gamblers.
