"Mosquitoes" by William Faulkner was first published in 1927. The book was published by Boni and Liverlight publishing house in New York.

It is a satiric novel. "Mosquitoes" is William Faulkner's second published novel. It is often said that the author wrote the novel while he was living in Paris, however, there is another opinion that he wrote the novel in Pascagoula, Mississippi in the summer of 1926.
