This set of 5 Valentines Day games will help you meet the Common Core Standards for first grade math. Each game has the corresponding standard marked on the game board for your convenience.
Standards addressed in this resource are:
1.NBT.1: Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals
1.NBT.2: Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
1.NBT.5: Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count
1. OA.6: Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10.
All of the games are very easy to prepare: print, laminate, and add a paperclip to the spinners as needed. Perfect for your February math centers and math tubs!
