This 30-page file is a presentation about European exploration and colonization (Portugal, Spain, England, & France). The presentation includes important facts and images about the motivation, obstacles, trade routes, important people (Prince Henry the Navigator, Christopher Columbus), etc. of the explorations by the Portuguese, Spanish, English, & French. There is a handy graphic organizer for students to write down the notes as they are discussed in this presentation.
