Join Billie on a wildly imaginative journey to rescue her baby brother from the clutches of an evil king in a strange, magical land.
Eleven-year-old Billie is fed up with her rock star parents who spend more time touring and schmoozing with agents and photographers than with her and her baby brother, Bix. When mysterious Uncle Myron pulls up to their hotel in his Cadillac convertible, Billie hatches a brilliant plan: She and Bix will stow away in the backseat until their parents are worried enough to come looking for them.
But their clever scheme takes an unexpected turn when the car suddenly flies through the air, transporting them to the bizarre world of Borderland. In this strange place, marshmallows are priceless, elephants dance in nightclubs, and a giant amphibian called the Kingfish rules with an iron tail. When the evil Kingfish kidnaps Bix, Billie must enlist the help of Borderland's eccentric creatures to rescue him.
Narrated by a smart, sassy heroine, Secret Life of Billie's Uncle Myron is a hilarious, wacky children's fantasy adventure that will keep even the most reluctant readers hooked. Dive into this imaginative story perfect for kids who love fantasy and humor.
