The main characters, Fletch, Carl and Rachel end up in the middle of the Hungarian rebellion in 1956, their mission to steal a T-54. Not an easy ask when the fighting in Budapest explodes around them.
All the books in the Steel series can be read as a stand alone, but there is a progression in time and development in the series.
