Young and beautiful Wanda was born in the times when Inquisition ruled, and the ancient prophecy cruelly dictated the way of life. Following her destiny she becomes a witch. She helps poor and disadvantaged and is struggling to do only good, but she falls into the trap of the harsh realities of the Middle Ages with stone cellars, fires and torture by Inquisition.
