David Hoppe was columnist for Indianapolis's alternative newspaper NUVO for 13 years. His pithy, interesting, humorous columns covered a wide variety of topics from Indianapolis's fascination with sports but unwillingness to pay for them to art movies nobody understands. He's been involved in almost evey arts organization and was a personal friend of Kurt Vonnegut's, so his is a voice to be listended to in this collection.
