When greed and faith collide, two powerful men and a beautiful televangelist construct a plan to gain control of the world's dwindling oil reserves by creating a clone of Jesus to lead America in a new Crusade. But unknown to them, a second clone is born far from their guidance to a young Hispanic woman who hides away the child she believes is Christ incarnate. As they grow up, we watch how the conflicting influences of genetics and environment lead the young clones towards their collision course with each other and World War 3!

Book 1 introduces us to the "mothers" of the two clones. Maria Rodriguez, a young Hispanic woman raised on her parents' coffee plantation, is suddenly orphaned and homeless. Barbara Melchoir is in the prime of her life, a popular Texan televangelist who yearns for a child she is unable to have. Both are vulnerable to the evil plot of Jasper Hoffman and Walter Stanger, who want nothing less than domination of dwindling Middle East oil supplies. We follow the clones as they are born and grow up in different circumstances, ending with their transitions from childhood to manhood and their pending entry onto the world stage, which will bring them to an epic confrontation in Book 2!
