The moon has no age, as time is a human construct; if that doesn't pass by you, then you'll get the gist of these eight dark and knowing poems.
No one sees as clearly as a lunatic; no one can see clearly, or express what they see, if they are knowing. Contrary to conventional wisdom, striking self-confidence is a sure sign of deficiencies in character; on the other hand, those who do actually know a thing or two about themselves and the world are hesitant to speak up, perhaps because what they have to say is not so perky and upbeat.
Poems like these can be depressing, if you are wont to hold illusions; if you seek the ever-unattainable truth, however, I believe you'll find these cathartic.
Mature themes.
