Jock Wallace was undoubtedly one of the finest managers ever to work at Ibrox. He was one of the last of the old-style Scottish managers but also became a very modern manager as he built his own teams and steered them to tremendous success. He played his part in the 1972 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup victory, managed the team that ended Celtic's bid for ten-in-a-row and went on to glory with two domestic Trebles in three years.
