En noviembre de 1577 el famoso y temido pirata español Tiburón Rojo, es apresado por soldados de la corona española y llevado en compañía de sus hombres, a la prisión de la isla de Auruga. El gobernador de la isla le ofrece dos opciones . La primera: la horca. La segunda: salvar su vida y la de sus hombres si accede a enfrentarse al Capitán Drook, quien por orden de la reina Isabel II de Inglaterra navega hacia aguas del Mar Caribe con la orden de asaltar cuantos barcos y puertos españoles encuentren en su camino. El capitán Drook tine cinco barcos y 180 hombres. Tiburón rojo solamente dispone de un galeón, pero aun así intentará detener al capitán inglés y saldar viejas cuentas pendientes.

In November of 1577, the famous and feared Spanish pirate, Red Shark, is captured by soldiers of the Spanish Crown and taken along with his men to the prison on the island of Auruga. The governor of the island offers him two options. The first: hanging. The second: save his life and that of his men by agreeing to face the Captain Williams Drook, who has been sent by Queen Elizabeth I of England to sail towards the Caribbean in order to assault as many Spanish ships and ports in his path as he can.
