The year is 121 AD, the Roman Empire has fixed its borders and built Hadrian's Wall separating the north from Romanized Gaul. For the construction a community is forcibly relocated, within there is a young woman with nothing left to lose named Eiren. Even with their wall in place the Romans still push north. She has heard the tales of the witches living in the north, she needs that power to help.
