The premise of this book is that God has designed a roadmap for Christians who have lost their way, so that they can return to Him and to a life of clean joy without regret, in the context of grace. Using many different scriptures and principles the author has spelled out the plan for return, which he says will work for any backslidden Christian who faithfully follow it. But the way back is not easy, which is why Return to Joy is written in a simple step-by-step style, to allow seekers to find their way back to God at their own pace. This is a self-help manual, not a great theological treatise. Anyone who can read and understand simple English should be able to use this book to help them get back to God and return to His joy.
