Eric puts a new twist on the early settling of America as he takes the reader from his birth in 1736, into the twentieth century, explaining many of history’s mysteries along the way. This adult fairytale that tells how the Devil, born to Mother Leeds in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, had a hand in the dark side of history. But the Devil also gives man credit for his own evil doings.

In The Devil’s Tale, Eric Leeds explains the mystery and beginning of the White Stag, another important part of Jersey lore. The White Stag has always been seen as a benevolent entity, one who protects the people of the Pine Barrens of New Jersey.

This very entraining fable is a mix of The X-Files, Spiderman and Sponge Bob, with a hidden riddle thrown into the mix for good measure. The riddle is solved by finding all of the rock groups that are scattered throughout the text of the story.
