By July of 1954, the Korean War had come to an end,the Rosenbergs had just been executed, and the McCarthy hearings were heating up.None of this matters to a seven year old boy who suddenly finds himself in a small town in Nebraska, while his family breaks apart.Before long, he has a friend, but the competition between them slowly drives them down a dark path.
