a young mother must walk along the lake to reach her parents hut and she has been threatened before making it a scary walk to celebrate her pups birthday, several villagers have come up missing along the lake and the lakes inhabitants come out in the darkness to celebrate the magic of the moons fullness while the village sleeps,the alphas son falls in love with the young mother and her son, his life is threatened,his mind is merged with the aging leaders giving him the knowledge he will need to lead the clan,his lovers hut is burned down in a fit of jealousy, a friend comes to him from a far for help to save his clan and there is talk of war against the humans.
