The names of the characters made me chuckle, and I thought perhaps the story would be comical. However, it wasn't long before I found myself getting involved in the real story and in the activities and characters of Knavesborough. I enjoyed the story immensely and was eager to pick up my Kindle each day to find out how the crimes would be solved. The names I found so amusing eventually grew on me, and I ended up looking forward to the introduction of new characters. Rose Walnut-Whip, Olivia Cadbury-Flake, Mildred Kickinbottom, Sapphire Licquorice, and of course, the Gershwin sisters Rhapsody, Harmonia, and Psalmonella (the cook!) were colorful characters who made the delightful, suspenseful story a five-star read for me. I look forward to reading another Gershwin & Penrose story. Kudos to Dorte Hummelshoj Jakobsen for weaving a bit of lightheartedness into a perfectly cozy mystery.
