The county of Kent has always been at the forefront of English history. Being close to Continental Europe, invading armies have always threatened Kent's coastline. My book is a historical journey through such threats and invasions. Romans, Vikings, Napoleon's aborted 1805 invasion. Hellfire corner and the threat of Nazi invasion, all are subjects covered in my book. Invicta Tales is a poetic tribute to Kent's contribution to English history.
