One year after an astounding literary debut, Jude Parker returns with a very different novel. This story is told through the eyes of a lost and lonely college student as he drives from his girlfriend's college campus to his own after they may or may not have broken up - again. The rarely-implemented second-person narrative alternates between a handful of egocentric, hedonistic college students and the ghosts that continue to haunt the main character's memories. There isn't a dull moment in the book in large part due to the story and Parker's provocative, stream of consciousness style of writing that seems reminiscent of Henry Miller and Jack Kerouac.
