The Message came first. The God Gates followed. Anyone passing through them would become creatures of purest energy, immortal. The Ultimate Mind promised this. For some, there was the problem of still wanting to have children. The God gates couldn't accommodate such. So, should these people stay behind, amidst a collapsing civilization?
