Nice France Holiday A short-break budget holiday. Brighten-up your days and nights (even on a rainy, misty day) by enjoying all the Fun of the Carnival along the Promenade Anglais; the Flower Market; Parcs; Harbour and Old Nice in this whistle-stop, rambling tour of a short-break budget holiday in Nice, France.

See the King Franc throttling the new Euro currency on a carnival float on The French Riviera!!!

Learn about the great influence The Roman Empire had upon this part of the Mediterranean world and discover their ancient treasures in the Parks of this great city.

Enjoy the cascading waterfalls high up in the hills and feast your eyes and senses on the stunning Flower Market in the old part of the city where you can stroll along its medieval streets, stop off to browse through Provencal clothes and fabrics laced with lavender or just relax and watch the world go by from your outside seat at one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants in the area.

Last but not least, I hope you will enjoy my rambling personal meniors and don't forget, you may want to save yourself lots of money by booking into the Mont Alban Auberg de Jeunesse (Youth Hostel) with good food, comfortable beds and breath-taking views of the city below.
