In addition to this there are two new appendixes (Appendixes 3 and 6). They are sample letters that can be sent to vendors and purchasers at the outset of a transaction. Appendixes previously numbered Appendix 3 to 7 have been renumbered, and references in the text have been adjusted accordingly.
There is also an enhanced commentary on deposit release and a precedent letter to the purchaser about it. Also added is a concise summary of the vendor's obligations under building legislation. And, to increase the usefulness of the book and enhance the user experience, Conveyancing Victoria 2014 introduces a comprehensive index.
