Arthur is an independent Threader, a young teen able too take cloth and work miracles with it. He is slowly building a reputation of great reknown for his craftsmanship.
A lonely man at times he doesn't understand why the nobles care so little for the people that do so much for them. He has a lot of frustration with the rich and not much love for their snobbish habits. He wishes he could do something to help the poor people of Great Breton.
Two twin giants make it a point to torment him on a regular basis causing him to constantly fear for his life and limb.
All that changes when a mysterious stranger enters the town and rescues him from the tormenting giants. His name is Merlyn.
Merlyn introduces Arthur to a higher calling, even as he must also face the Dark Lady, Morgana and her evil plans of conquest and domination.
Now he has been discovered by the Dark Lady and he must enter her domain without giving away his ties to Merlyn or the fairy girl he met.
This is episode two of a series of short stories that comprise the first volume of Young King Arthur: The Dawn of the Light.
